Barrels Unlimited operates a state-of-the-art cooperage at its Fresno, California facility. Opened in 1994, the primary function of the Cooperage is to produce new wine barrels, which are marketed exclusively by Barrel Associates International, a comany headquartered in Napa, California. All of the barrels manufactured are handmade in the Bordeaux style from air-dried American Oak. Stringent specifications must be met in all aspects of the building process in order to pass the strict quality control standards that have been set for the Cooperage. The barrels produced by Barrels Unlimited are sold both domestically and internationally by Barrel Associates International and have already achieved high praise within the wine industry.
